Fintr
Financial literacy for children Money behaviour education Gamified learning for finance Experiential financial education Positive money habits development
At Fintr, games to teach kids about money and build positive money behaviours are created. Fintr does this in two ways:
Fintr4Schools – a gamified, web-based solution aligned to the EMS CAPS curriculum. It takes learners on a superhero-themed journey to defeat villains that represent bad money habits, like Saverstrain, who prevents you from saving. Along the way, learners explore concepts like saving, earning, sharing and investing. Learners also complete interactive activities and compete with classmates.
FinMaster – a fun, money-themed board game for ages 13 and up, and a proud 2nd place winner at the International Education Games Competition 2025.
So far, Fintr has impacted the lives of over 1000+ learners across all 9 South African provinces, reaching kids from diverse backgrounds through their national financial literacy board game tournament, FinMaster, and Fintr4Schools.
