An integrated, end-to-end digital and community health ecosystem, DAWA Health combines two core AI technologies to address the problem of maternal mortality and cervical cancer in developing countries. First, it uses a fine-tuned, multilingual AI chatbot, built on a fine-tuned Google’s MedSigLip model and an NLP component on Gemini using Retrieval Augmented Generation. This chatbot, accessible via WhatsApp, provides personalised health education, tackles misinformation, and allows women to privately order birth kits, HPV DNA self-test kits, or any SRH commodities. This component drives demand and overcomes stigma barriers.
