This Pitching Competition Side Event at SWEAT Africa serves as the qualifying round for the SWEAT Africa Main-Stage Pitch Competition.

This side event aims to give promising biotech and hardtech startups exposure to a new audience of investors and industry leaders attending SWEAT Africa.

The top finalists selected from this session will pitch on the SWEAT Africa main stage on 14 February for the winner‑take‑all R100,000 prize.

• Eligibility: Must be physically present at SWEAT Africa on 13–14 February
• Participation: Free for all startup attendees
• Final Prize: R100,000 (awarded during the main-stage final pitch)
